Our Programs

At Salem's Sanctuary, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every cat, regardless of their socialization or perceived value, deserves to live a healthy, peaceful, and protected life.

Our Community Cat Spay/Neuter Program makes this a reality by providing vital spay/neuter services and vaccines to community cats, reducing the number of unwanted litters while improving the cats’ overall well-being.

Our Friendly Cat Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program provides similar services for owned (pet) cats with most clinics including FIV/FeLV testing and microchips to aid in keeping cats safe and healthy.

Our Community Cat Wellness Program provides colony caretakers with vital resources to keep colony cats healthy day-to-day. From flea meds to winter shelters, we do everything possible to ensure these colonies of cats are healthy and protected.

Our Community Cat Emergency Program provides funding for critical surgeries, such as limb amputation, entropion, tooth extractions, and similar procedures to ensure the cats are not suffering from painful yet curable conditions.

Finally, our Adoption Program acts as a pathway to forever homes for many of the friendly cats we find through our TNR efforts, giving them a chance at a better life.
